...because it's simply easier together!
One aspect that is particularly close to the heart of Gronau Comprehensive School is teamwork. This is lived and promoted at all levels.
In the classroom, students experience community through and through:
- They sit together at team tables in small groups. This seating arrangement promotes communication and cooperation. In this way, the students learn that you simply learn better together.
- In class, partner and group work phases are used where students can discuss topics and solve tasks together.
- Through shared class service, they learn to work for the community and take responsibility for each other.
Our educational staff also works as a team to plan and implement lessons that meet the needs of our students.
- The class management takes place as a team. Through intensive cooperation, the best possible support for each child and adolescent is strived for.
- In year level teams, all class leaders of a year exchange ideas in order to plan common guidelines and actions.
- Through cooperation in the various subject areas, common standards are developed and content is defined. This ensures that all students receive the same high-quality instruction.
- Together with school social work, the guidance counselor and the school chaplain, students can receive advice on problems and questions both at school and in their private lives.
