School social work at the Gronau comprehensive school
School social work is an integral part of the school program at Gronau Comprehensive School. Pupils can make an appointment with the various contact persons at any time. Concerns are then clarified in counseling or conflict discussions with those involved. One counseling appointment is not always sufficient for the issue in question, so regular appointments can be arranged if necessary. If necessary and desired, other parties such as parents or teachers are also involved in the counseling process.
Other services offered by school social work include
- Social learning in year 5
- Mediator training and support
- Class interventions if required
- Prevention services
- Behavioral training for various groups
- Establishing contact with counseling centers and other youth and family support facilities
- Offers during the lunch break
- Experiential education offers
The counseling services are not only aimed at students, but also at parents, guardians and teachers. Together, we then look for possible solutions for the respective issue.
