In the afternoon, the school grounds became a lively gathering place. Visitors tested their knowledge in the Europe quiz, browsed and haggled at the flea market, and participants engaged in exciting duels at the chess tournament.
Several musical performances by students created a special atmosphere, enriching the program and showcasing the diverse range of talents at our school. Creativity was on full display as students made key chains, which were then sold.

A special highlight was the large buffet featuring numerous food and cake donations. The variety of dishes brought in also reflected the cultural diversity of our school community. At our school in particular, we see time and again just how enriching different perspectives, experiences, and traditions are for our shared learning and life together.

Refreshments were also plentiful: Visitors could enjoy waffles, ice cream, and other treats while spending the afternoon in a pleasant atmosphere.
Amid a cheerful atmosphere, many encounters, and a wide variety of activities, it became clear that Europe is much more than a political community: Europe thrives on exchanges between people, on openness, and on respectful coexistence.

Europe Day 2026 impressively demonstrated how diversity, community, and mutual respect shape school life at our school.
