Reading competition at the Gronau comprehensive school

In an impressive competition, Samantha Boost from 6d came out on top against the finalists Noh Tesfay (6a), Johny Shamma (6b) and Lea Sachs (6c). Her rousing interpretation of an excerpt from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone not only impressed the jury, but also the entire audience of fifth and sixth year students.

The jury, consisting of school social workers, teachers and a former finalist from the previous year, had the challenging task of selecting the best reading talents. Samantha impressed the judges with her impressive voice, empathy and reading technique.

We are looking forward to seeing how Samantha will do in the district competition in February.
