Summer, sun, end of school! - School's out at the Gronau comprehensive school

Dear school community,

An exciting and eventful school year lies behind us - and we look back with pride on many shared experiences. We would especially like to congratulate our 46 graduates and the five year 10 classes, who we bid farewell to in a festive setting. We wish you all the best for the future!

The young adults are wearing elegant evening dresses, suits and festive hairstyles. Two students in suits and ties kneel in the foreground. The atmosphere is solemn and proud. The edge of the stage is adorned with flowers and a golden crown can be seen in the background as a decoration.

The participants in the swimming competition were honored for their performance at School's Out

Our atmospheric "School's Out" party on Thursday marked the official end of the school year. Numerous achievements were honored in the best weather and exuberant atmosphere: For example, students received their DELF certificates, the winners of the swimming championships were honored and the dedicated work of our mediators was also deservedly recognized. In addition, long-serving colleagues were bid farewell - at the same time, we were also able to welcome new teachers into our midst.

Musical and dance contributions included a performance by our school band, a dance performance and a DJ who created a great atmosphere.
The following day, the report cards were handed out and all students were sent off on their well-deserved summer vacation.

Each letter is creatively decorated with summery motifs, for example a flamingo, watermelon, ice cream, beach ball, sunglasses, palm tree, popsicle, anchor, shells, lifebuoy or unicorn swimming tire. The lettering is surrounded by other summer symbols such as the sun, coconut, camera, flip-flops and a parasol. The design is cheerful and conveys an exuberant summer and vacation mood.
