Together with the parents, we educate our students to become responsible personalities in a respectful and tolerant coexistence in cultural diversity.
1. we guide all persons involved in school life to live together respectfully and politely.
The house rules drawn up jointly by pupils, parents and teachers set out the rules of coexistence for all those involved in school life.
2. we actively support our students in developing an independent personality in society.
The subject lessons take personal development into account in the development of thematic focuses.
3. we work together with the parents on educational issues to ensure the success of the joint tasks.
Parents are in regular contact with the class and subject teachers, the level heads, the guidance teachers or the extended school management. This can take place, for example, during parent-teacher conferences, by contacting counselors and coordinators or through the participation of parents in school committees.
4. we actively support our students in developing a responsible personality.
All students elect their representatives for participation in the school. The student council actively shapes school life through project work and school conference work.
5 We promote respectful and tolerant coexistence in the classroom.
All pupils in Years 5 and 6 take part in the "Growing up" project (LionsQuest) during lessons.
6. we support our students in developing a strong personality that can cope with the demands and dangers of society.
All participating teachers and school social workers prepare students in different grades for social dangers in a preventative manner, e.g:
- Spotlight: Theater against bullying
- Addiction prevention
- Cyberbullying (media scouts)
- Mediators

7 We support the parents of our students in their educational role.
All teachers involved provide support in educational issues, e.g:
- Parents' evening on the Growing Up program
- Parents' evenings with a thematic focus such as "Internet - but safely!", partly in cooperation with the Gronau Family Education Center
- Parents' evening on the Growing Up program
8. we advise pupils, parents and the teaching staff on educational issues.
Counseling services are available to all students, parents and colleagues on educational and personal development issues.
9. we have an educational effect on the pupils in the event of boundary violations.
If our students exceed the rules of respectful and polite coexistence, disciplinary measures (educational measures or disciplinary measures) will be taken.
