Project "Resistance, courage and dangerous decisions under the National Socialist occupation of the Netherlands (1940-1945)"

As part of the project days last week, a project group looked at the sisters Freddie and Truus Oversteegen, who put up militant resistance against the German occupiers as teenagers. We read excerpts from the novel "Talking is Treason" by Wilma Geldof, researched background information on the history of the Netherlands between 1940 and 1945 and made museum cases in small groups to bring the history of that time to life.
