The school team of the Werner-von-Siemens-Gymnasium Gronau (age group 2009 to 2011) won the
district championship title at the district championship (soccer Wk II) in Bocholt on 9.04.2025. On the way to the championship title, school teams from Vreden, Bocholt, Borken, Stadtlohn, Ahaus and Schöppingen were defeated. In the next round
, the WvSG will face the district champions from Bottrop. It is possible that some young talents from FC Schalke 04 will be waiting for the players from our school team. (KÖN)
