Once again this year, every child will receive a great, home-made Advent calendar in the Ümi.

Donation from VR Bank brings fun to the ÜMI

Thanks to a generous donation from VR Bank Westfalen-Lippe, the Management Board was able to purchase new Playmobil toys for our lunchtime supervision - and the children are delighted!

Whether it's a knight's castle, playhouse or horse ranch - the new games stimulate the imagination and provide lots of fun in everyday life at ÜMI. The children dive into exciting adventures with great joy and enjoy the new selection of toys to the full.

A big thank you to VR Bank Westfalen-Lippe for this great support and their commitment to the children in the region!

Fun, games and community at the ÜMI Festival 2025

On May 23, it was time again for our annual ÜMI festival at the Overberg School - a happy afternoon full of games, fun and encounters.

Once again this year, dedicated parents put their heart and soul into putting on a colorful party for the children, their families and the childcare team. Despite the rather chilly temperatures, the visitors did not let the atmosphere spoil their mood. A warm bratwurst helped to warm them up from the inside - as did the laughter and good humor all around.

The program included popular classics such as foam kiss throwing, goal wall shooting and glitter tattoos. Particularly exciting: the water games with the fire department - a highlight for the kids.

The ÜMI board took the opportunity not only to thank the ÜMI team for their loving daily care of the children, but also to hand over newly purchased scooters and footballs. This guarantees fun in the coming weeks - the children can look forward to lots of exercise and variety! A big thank you also went to the organization team, who worked so hard to make the ÜMI festival possible.

An all-round successful celebration that once again showed how great and valuable the commitment to our school community is!
